Mr. Harris departed this earth after 92 years, 11 months and 23 days on March 8, 2011. This site was created to share details of his ubiquitous life. Mr. and Mrs. Harris remain champions in the hearts and minds of thousands of children they inspired. Mrs. Harris, also an educator, retired as a district superintendent.
